Gotta love the ninos

We're still alive.

We have been braving life without the internet for months now, but here is an update.

We attend the new Mountain Home Spanish Branch where Shanna plays the piano, Luke teaches Sunday school, Katia colors in her Bible coloring book, and Evan screams like a caged animal. Luke is still finishing up his master's degree and Shanna is still teaching piano.

San Antonio BSU Trip

These are some photos of Luke's trip to San Antonio Texas with the BSU bilingual/ESL masters program. If you ever get a chance to go there it is highly recommended.

Evan finally made his grand entrance.

Evan Glen Rekow was finally born on Wednesday March 11, 2009 at 7:25pm. He was 8lbs. 6oz. and 21 inches long. After a few unexpected turns we ended up having him almost a week after his due date and in Boise instead of Mountain Home. But... he was definitely worth the wait. Unlike his older sister, he likes sleeping, eating, and chilling out. In fact, he is sleeping right now.

Anyway, we're excited to have him in our family and we hope you can all meet him soon. Thanks for all the love and support.

Still Waiting...

Our Rekow Family currently consists of Lucas Edward, a Wisconsin native and Spanish teacher extraordinaire, Shanna Lee, a brand spanking new blogger, and Katia Eleanor, a spunky three-year-old with beautiful brown eyes. We're still waiting for a baby boy to join our family. He's supposed to be here in one week, preferably sooner.
